Victorian Parian Jug Relief King Arthur and Hector of Troy

A relief moulded jug depicting King Arthur with armour and wide-brimmed hat to one side and Hector of Troy in armour to reverse, similar one appears on R. K. Henrywood book 'An Illustrated Guide to British Jugs' page 157 with attribution to Liddle Elliot & Son and dated 1868. A unique opportunity to own this wonderful and rare Eglish Victorian jug. In good antique condition with expected signs of age and wear, no chips, no cracks, the expected surface blemishes, lid is absent and, the piercings beneath the rim on both sides for the lid have at some point been covered, please refer to detailed photos provided. The vase is approximately 18.5cm tall, base diameter 8, rim diameter 6 and, weighs 500g. It will be carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.
