Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers A handsome Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, well-proportioned and full of warm colour and character. Solidly built and practical, with attractive detailing that lifts it beyond a plain utility piece. The chest features five drawers in total, all of which run well, fitted with brass handles. There is some trim missing to the left-hand side of the base drawer, reflected in the price and mentioned for clarity. The top is generally in good order, with some light discolouration to the front area, which blends naturally with the overall tone and patina. The sides show general wear and age-related discolouration, consistent with a genuine Victorian piece. It stands on solid bracket feet and is enhanced by a vertical carved detail to either side of the drawer fronts, adding depth and visual interest.
