One Light Basket French Antique Chandelier

An unusual French basket antique chandelier from the south of France. With two layers of icicle and tear drop crystals issuing from the central gilt stem, the bottom 'bag' consists of a large octagonal button, a good quality coffin drop and graduated button crystals hanging from an ornate filigree central band and gathering into a plain gilt bottom boss which is completed with a faceted bomb drop. c1920s Restored, wired, pat tested and ready to hang. Height 56 x Width 30cm, this is the height of the chandelier without the chain and ceiling rose which is the original and cam be adjusted to individal needs.
