Description
A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.95 carat sapphire, 6.05 carat diamond and silver pendant/brooch with 9 karat yellow gold fittings; part of our diverse antique Victorian jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch/pendant has been crafted in silver with 9k yellow gold fittings. The five petalled floral design is ornamented with a central claw set feature 1.95ct oval faceted blue sapphire. The petals are embellished with one-hundred and thirty-five pavé set Old European cut diamonds. The pierced decorated floriated frame bears simplified layered leaf motifs to the incurves, ornamented with ten further Old European cut diamonds, graduating in size. The brooch secures to the reverse with a 9k yellow gold detachable hinged pin and clasp fastening; the removable pin indicates the high quality of the piece. This versatile brooch may also be worn as a pendant, suspended from an 18' yellow gold chain via the detachable bale, embellished with three further diamonds. This stunning antique pendant/brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 karat gold and silver. This impressive Victorian floral brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. This late 19th century sapphire and diamond floral brooch embodies period elegance and symbolism, with its flower motif traditionally representing love, renewal and beauty. The harmonious pairing of sapphire and diamonds makes it a refined and meaningful gift for milestone birthdays, anniversaries or special celebrations, particularly for those who appreciate antique craftsmanship and nature-inspired jewelry.
